News Today

Let´s read this piece of news taken from Buenos Aires Herald Newspaper some days ago.
The Saddest News...

The worst news. The body of Candela Rodriguez, the 11 year old girl who has disappeared 9 days ago, was found next to a highway near Villa Tesei, according to information issued by the head of the Police of Buenos Aires.

According to news given by radio and television broadcasts, the mother of the little girl had received a phone call 48 hours previously in which a man´s voice said: "Give me the money or I will kill the girl."

Do you remember this piece of news? It happened on January 15th 2009. It was all over the news... (taken from CNN.com) Have a look below and read!

Airplane crash-lands into Hudson River; all aboard reported safe

The plane entered the water Thursday afternoon after a failed takeoff, the FAA says.
A US Airways plane with 155 people on board ditched into a chilly Hudson River on Thursday, apparently after striking at least one bird upon takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport, according to officials and passengers.
Everyone on board was accounted for and alive, officials said. About 15 people were being treated at hospitals and others were being evaluated at nearby sanitary posts.
Flight 1549, headed to Charlotte, North Carolina, was in the air for less than three minutes, according to FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown.

Now, let´s listen to a survivor of this accident.
Listen and pay attention to what he says about the THREE THINGS HE LEARNED WHEN HIS PLANE CRASHED.

Double click here to watch and listen to what the survivor says.

After listening, send me an e-mail to solibarrav@gmail.com and answer these two questions:

1- What three things did he learn in that terrible moment?

2- If you were in that airplane in the accident, what things would YOU think of or decide to do if you survived?
